MSC Southeast Student Handbook

College StudentWelcome to Minnesota State College Southeast (MSC Southeast). We are glad you have chosen to join our college community. The Student Handbook is designed to help you understand the college's expectations and the resources available so you can achieve your academic goals.

The Student Handbook provides information about student rights, campus life, academic policies and procedures, and college services. In many cases, more detailed information about college policies and procedures can be found elsewhere on the website. When that is the case, a link to pages where additional information can be found, will be provided.

The information in the Student Handbook, catalog, website, and other publications issued does not constitute a contract the information is in effect at publication. The college reserves the right to change policies, procedures, fees, etc., with proper notification, at any time.

Student Handbook Updates

Campus policies are reviewed annually, and some policies may be changed, added, or deleted. Such changes occur prior to the start of the academic year; however, some may occur throughout the year. Each effective policy will be highlighted below, dated for your reference, and a link to the new or updated policy. Policy changes will remain on their pages for one year from the date listed.

MSC Southeast reserves the right to change policy without notice, however it is our practice and goal to inform the community of changes prior to their implementation.

MSC Southeast maintains a complete listing of official policy in the Policies and Procedures section of the college website

MSC Southeast is a member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system. As such, the college's policies and procedures are aligned with those at minnstate.edu/board/policy
